Are our perceptions independent ?

Answer to this question is bit tricky, because it depends on how we define the word perception. The word perception itself is not independent, because to for us to form a perception we need a set of date which can only be acquired by an exposure. Exposure happens in open reality. We tend to take in the views we see in our exposure. For instance, let us think we don’t know anything about credit card and we want to know about it. The first thing we do is google about it and get a messy mix of all the opinions and we get ourselves confused. The next step is ask to a friend or family, what happens is that they immediately explain you the negative’s of the same. So the final perception we frame is that the credit card is not good to have. If we see this example we can realise that our perceptions are heavily influenced with the opinions of the outer world and their explanation toward it. Even at the simple level the predictive text in the key board when it suggests a word when you type, we tend to suddenly convince to use that word because the typing is minimised, but in reality our perceptions are expressed in the given word.

Can perceptions be independent ?

There is no such thing as an independent perception the only solution to this is that we have to experience things and take in the opinion of others, there is a draw back to this approach because to experience everything means is to exhaust the life time for nothing. So the perceptions are to shaped by filtering things we hear and see.we can take in the opinions of others but do not consider it as utmost reality but a happened and a possible reality, may be we feel we are better at handling the credit card give it a try with cautions in mind. Possible realities are to be taken seriously but not so serious that its the only reality and happening possible. To understand this term better we need to accept the fact that same thing done twice were never same in the history, best example is photography. Even the same poses and a are not same. This realisation is a first step in understanding the reality of the perceptions we form as our realities.
